Animal-Free Safety Assessment

Module 7 - Integration into Risk Assessment (07)

Description
The final safety assessment conclusion is the culmination of the elements we have explored throughout the modules in this AFSA master class. In this module, we explore the integration of existing data, exposure information and new approach methodologies (NAMs) data within Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA), using a weight of evidence (WoE) approach to assess whether or not a particular use or relevant exposure is reasonably safe for humans, i.e. low risk. The module includes case examples of several types of assessments for both local and systemic effects of chemical ingredients in consumer products.

The module: "Master Class Overview" must be completed as a prerequisite to this module.
