Module 4B: Safety of Botanicals/History of Safe Use (04b)

Description
“History of Safe Use” is applied to botanicals and botanical extracts (natural substances). It is a method of extrapolating relevant information from a long history of familiarity with the botanical or natural product to a derivative of that product that is new – for example, a new method of extraction or the isolation or purification of a few substances out of the total complex botanical substance.
